Event Spaces


We host all types of events in our 5 unique spaces, from small to large and serious to gregarious.

You name it and we’ve made it happen: executive retreats and corporate trainings, conferences and fundraisers, weddings and anniversaries, birthday and holiday parties, bar mitzvahs and quinceañeras, elegant galas, film screenings and more. We’ve had cocktail parties, dinner parties, costume parties, karaoke parties and surprise parties. We’ve had many, many wedding parties and occasionally, a divorce party. We also host great music concerts and comedy shows that are open to the public. Whatever you’re celebrating or whatever your company is gathering to work on, we have a space that would suit your purpose perfectly.

Each of our spaces has its own character and all are equipped with everything you might need for both daytime or evening events, indoors or outside. We have free high speed internet wifi, full audio and video capabilities and can set up a stage, lighting and video projector screen. Meals and libations can all be easily taken care of with full service catering and a full bar available for all of the events hosted here. We love providing wonderful food and drink, great support and comfortable spaces for our community and all your gatherings, milestones and celebrations.

Our event center is 100% solar powered and we’re committed to green, sustainable business practices. We have a zero waste goal. We have plenty of free parking, including 16 EV charging ports.

 

Plaza

The plaza room seats 500 people in an ample 5800sf and overlooks a beautiful outdoor courtyard through big windows on 3 sides of the room. This room is filled with light and is great for business luncheons, trainings, seminars and other daytime corporate events. Attendees can be seated at big round tables to listen to lectures, to break into groups for discussion or to eat meals and socialize. It’s also perfect for big celebrations that run into the evening, like weddings and reunions. It can be dressed up and lit for festivities and can easily hold a band and dancing. A stage is also available, along with audio capabilities and a video projector and screen. Full service catering can provide delicious food and all the setup, linens, dishes and clean up for you. All you need to do is choose your favorite dishes from our SOMO event catering menu, show up with your guests and we’ll do the rest.
 
 

Courtyard

Our 1 acre outdoor courtyard is perfect for your largest events, having up to 3,000 guests fed and enjoying themselves without any issues.. We often set up a stage for events hosted here, with full stage lighting and concert-quality audio. We host daytime festivals and fairs here, like Oktoberfest and the Sonoma Blues Festival, with product booths and food vendors. We throw a big birthday party for Wavy Gravy each summer with all the musicians he knows to play and raise money for the Seva Foundation. We also have evening concerts with a bar and beer garden. We love to feature local food and craft vendors, and beer, wine, and spirits. We work exclusively with 2nd Octave Productions for event support, like traffic control, barricades, security, box office and everything else you might need. They can handle it all with style and grace, making sure everyone has a good time while working to make everything run smoothly behind the scenes.


 
 

Redwood Grove

Our enormous 80-foot redwood grove makes a perfect setting for outdoor parties and gatherings with up to 700 people, but it still feels cozy for smaller groups. We have a 25-foot fire pit for evening events, along with torches, heat lamps, and lighting for the perfect atmosphere. Space can be tailored to be casual or elegant. A stage is available with lighting and full audio and video capabilities. It’s a delightful place to spend an afternoon or evening with a big group of friends or colleagues. We host our big corporate picnics, play days and private summer parties in the Redwood Grove, like ice cream socials, garden parties and 4th of July BBQs. We’d had carnival games, jugglers, popcorn, and snow cone machines for a circus or carnival theme. In the evenings, we’ve had oyster and champagne tasting parties, luau parties with tiki torches and more. In an outdoor space this beautiful and versatile, with flexible and affordable catering and full bar available, there are lots of fantastic possibilities.
 
 

Restaurant

We host all kinds of private events in our restaurant space on weekends with up to 140 people in the main dining area. From celebrating with friends to networking over dinner and drinks with colleagues, this space is perfect when you need full service catering and bar in a cozy dining atmosphere. It’s set up for live music, comedy or other performances with full audio and video capability so prepare your speeches, book your favorite entertainment act or bring in a movie or actors for dinner theater. There’s high speed internet and a stage with full lighting available, as well as 8 Lagunitas draft beers, mixed drinks and a delicious catering menu. We love hosting parties with a big buffet and live music and will help you plan a spread of great food and entertainment to match your theme. Romantic, boisterous or merry, casual or elegant, we’ve hosted it before and would love to support you and your guests as you celebrate here. 
 
 

Boardroom

Our boardroom is a 1650sf private indoor meeting room that seats 100 people, making it perfect for small conferences, workshops, trainings and other corporate events. The room is well lit with wood paneled walls and has a whiteboard and poster boards for displaying materials, audio capabilities and a video projector and screen. The rectangular working tables seat 6 to a table and the room can be divided into two parts with a built-in folding wall, allowing a big group to split into two discussion topics or a smaller group to use a space that they can comfortably fill. There’s high speed internet wifi and plenty of free parking, including EV charging ports for electric cars. Full service catering is available in the boardroom. We can provide hors d’oeuvres and snacks during breaks, sandwiches and soup for lunch or anything else on our SOMO event catering menu.
